FIRST UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST
Where strangers become friends
We are an Open and Affirming Congregation
Welcome to
FIRST UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST
Located in beautiful Orlando, First United Church of Christ offers congregants a place of comfort, hope, and a peace of mind for all their worshiping needs. We are dedicated to spreading the teachings of Jesus Christ, and our goal is to inspire you through the holiness of our dwelling and our services. We invite you to become a part of our growing congregation, and look forward to meeting you!
We celebrate holy communion the first Sunday of each month. Communion is open to all who believe in Jesus Christ. After worship each Sunday we join in fellowship with one another, while sharing refreshments.

ABOUT OUR CHURCH
OUR VISION:
The vision of the First United Church of Christ of Orlando Florida is to become the most effective inclusive progressive Christian ministry in Central Florida. Therefore: We envision becoming totally inclusive in this journey to what we believe God’s purpose for us to be. Reaching out to others and incorporating us all in the love of Christ by aggressively seeking and welcoming people of all: ages, colors, economic classes, languages, sexual orientation and theological positions, fulfilling our understanding of the gospel.

A Comma, Because...
Whoever you are, wherever you are on life's journey, you are welcome here!
A comma, because Gracie Allen left George Burns a note when she died, saying, “George, never place a period where God has placed a comma.”
A comma, because we believe God’s truth is always being revealed and God is Still Speaking.
A comma, because the period at the end of the Bible is not the end of God’s revelation.
A comma, because our faith may be 2,000 years old but our thinking is not.
A rainbow comma, because God’s love is fully inclusive and we try to live that inclusive love.
